Back for the Attack was Doken’s fourth album and sold over 4 million copies worldwide. This album shows a more versatile and aggressive guitar work by the amazing George Lynch (which can be heard in the excellent instrumental “Mr. Scary”). Back for the Attack is the band’s heavier record, but maintaining catchy choruses and melodies. The album was a voice defying the look and sound of how a “glam metal” band from the 1980’s should be. The Tip factory says: Forget labels, this is a great record with a song from a Freddy Kruger movie! What else can you ask for? Tip Score: 8.5

I truly agree with Omar: Dokken is a one of a kind band in the "love or hate" world of glam metal. I truly dig them and they had the potential to be way greater than the Crues and Poisons spoon fed to the masses, courtesy of MTV.
