Toxicity is the second album by System of a Down, and has sold over 12 million copies worldwide. This is one of the most original “metal” records in the history of the genera. Its mixture of force, brutality, cleverness and musicianship makes toxicity an instant classic. Although the record became mainstream it is not because of hits (which has), is because of the quality of its music and lyrics in every song. Along with Disturbed, Tool and Slipknot, System of a Down established the “nu metal” as a force to reckon with and inspired a new movement in heavy music. The Tip Factory says: This is a perfect record, if you don’t have it, shame on you. Tips Score: 10
